Dental Implants
Often chosen as an alternative to dentures and bridges: dental implants offer a flexible solution for missing teeth, allowing you to replace one tooth, multiple teeth or even a full set of teeth for maximum comfort and reliability.
An implant is essentially like new tooth root which is fixed into the jawbone under local anaesthetic and is made mainly out of Titanium that bone likes to fuse with over time. A new tooth or bridge is then attached, providing an effective and long term solution that looks and feels very realistic – allowing you to smile and eat with confidence.
One advantage of choosing dental implants is that this treatment avoids the need to file down surrounding teeth like in the case of bridges.
Dr Abdah is a highly experienced implant dentist and skilled in carrying out complex implant techniques including bone grafts, sinus lifts and multiple unit reconstruction cases. He has also undertaken extensive postgraduate training and holds an MSc in dental implants and is a visiting academic to the university of Warwick teaching all aspects of Implants.
